Clean Technology Fund (CTF)

The Clean Technology Fund (CTF), which aims at promoting scaled‑up deployment and transfer of clean technologies by funding low‑carbon Programs and projects that have significant potential for long‑term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions savings. To date (May 2017), it has endorsed 16 investment plans for 15 countries and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for a total funding of US$ 5.0 billion in the area of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable transport.
