Lighting Africa

Lighting Africa is part of the World Bank Group’s contribution to Sustainable Energy for All (SEforAll). It is a platform supporting off-grid lighting market as a means of increasing energy access to people not connected to grid electricity, and assisting manufacturers, distributors, and other development partners to develop the off-grid lighting market. The program also provides market insights, steers development of quality assurance frameworks for modern, off-grid lighting devices and systems, and promotes sustainability, in partnership with all off-grid lighting stakeholders.
